"More, More, More" - Kylie Minogue

Kylie said exactly what every binge reader is thinking at 2 AM when they finish Book 1 and immediately open Book 2. No hesitation. No shame. Just... more.

You're not a problem to be solved. You're a reader with standards.

And I'm your supplier.

Let's talk about what happens when a spicy romantic suspense series takes over your life. And more importantly... how to let it.

First: Request Those PTO Days. I'll Wait.

No seriously. Before we go any further.

If you haven't read Luxury Romance Defined: Power. Scandal. Dynasty. yet, go do that first. I'll be here. Because I already told you: this is the only genre that requires PTO days.

Luxury Romance Defined | What Is Luxury Romance
Luxury Romance is emotionally immersive, high-stakes, cinematic, explicit, and unapologetic. Full series drops, no waiting. Written for the wildly focused and beautifully distracted.

You didn't listen, did you?

Fine. But don't say I didn't warn you.

Here's what's about to happen to you: You're going to open Seduction thinking "I'll just read a few chapters." You're going to meet Allegra Norman on the Amalfi Coast mid-escape from the worst five minutes of her life. You're going to meet Nick Battino and understand immediately why she's not running anymore.

And then it's going to be 3 AM.

You're welcome.

The Binge Reader's Survival Guide: Before You Start

Think of this as your pre-flight checklist. You wouldn't board a 14-hour flight without snacks, headphones, and a neck pillow. This is the same energy.

Clear your calendar.

Not "I'll squeeze in a chapter between meetings." CLEAR. YOUR. CALENDAR. Block the weekend. Request the PTO. Tell your people you're unavailable. You're not being antisocial. You're being responsible about your reading commitments.

Charge everything.

Your phone. Your tablet. Your e-reader. Your laptop. Your backup device. All of it. Because nothing is worse than being mid-scene when he's about to say the thing and your battery dies. That's not a cliffhanger. That's a crime.

Stock the supplies.

Your drink of choice (Prosecco preferred but no judgment). Snacks that don't require two hands. A blanket. Good lighting. Comfortable everything. You're building a nest and you're not leaving it until Allegra and Nick get their HEA.

Set the out of office.

Not just at work. Everywhere. Group chats. Family texts. Social media notifications. The world will still be there when you surface. Probably. It's fine.

Cue the playlist.

The official Caviar & Crimes Spotify playlist exists for exactly this moment.  Let it run.

Let it set the mood. Let Kylie tell you to want more, more, more before you even open page one.

What Happens During the Binge (A Field Report)

Consider this your stage-by-stage breakdown of what's about to happen to you. Medically accurate. Mostly.

Stage 1: "I'll just read a few chapters."

You won't. We both know you won't. But the optimism is cute. Settle in. Meet Allegra. Meet Nick. Watch her literally fall into his arms and think "oh no" because you already know. You already KNOW.

A few chapters becomes half the book. Half the book becomes the whole book. The whole book becomes "well I can't NOT start Surrender right now."

It's fine. This is fine.

Stage 2: The Emotional Hijack.

Somewhere around the middle of Surrender, the story stops being something you're reading and starts being something you're LIVING. You're not observing Allegra and Nick anymore. You're IN it. Their wins feel like your wins. Their close calls feel like YOUR close calls.

You may audibly gasp. You may say "oh FUCK" to an empty room. You may text someone "I CAN'T" with zero context and expect them to understand.

They won't understand. That's okay. They're not on the inside.

Stage 3: The Negotiation.

This is where you start bargaining with yourself.

"One more chapter then I'll sleep." "It's only midnight." "It's only 1 AM." "Sleep is for people who aren't invested in what Nick is about to do." "I'll sleep when I finish the series."

You will not sleep when you finish the series. You will stare at the ceiling processing your feelings like a person who just went through something.

Because you did.

Stage 4: The Overconsumption.

You've finished Seduction. You've finished Surrender. Serenity is next and you're aware that when you finish it, the trilogy is over.

This creates a very specific kind of reading anxiety: going too fast means it ends. Going too slow is impossible because you NEED to know.

So you do what any responsible binge reader does: you read it in one sitting and deal with the emotional consequences later.

This is your duty. I don't make the rules.

Stage 5: The Aftermath.

You've finished the trilogy. It's [insert ungodly hour here]. The story is over. Allegra and Nick have their HEA. Everything is resolved.

And you feel... a lot.

You might need a minute. Or an hour. Or a day. To just sit with it. To process what these characters gave you. To reread that one scene. You know the one.

This is called a book hangover and it is absolutely a medical condition that I am absolutely not licensed to treat.

I do recommend putting your valuables away before you get to Serenity. You will throw the book. You will pick it up immediately. You will resume getting your fix. This is not a warning. It's a courtesy.

Stage 6: Rinse. Repeat.

Here's the thing about the Norman Sisters saga: Allegra's story ends. But the universe doesn't.

Cassie Norman is next. Same world. Same stakes. Different sister. Different love story. And everything you learned in Allegra's trilogy? It matters. The threads carry. The secrets deepen. The universe expands.

So when the book hangover lifts (give it a day, maybe two), you know what to do.

Go back to the survival guide. Clear the calendar. Charge the devices. Stock the supplies. Set the out of office.

Because Cassie's story is waiting. And after Cassie? Stella.

Three sisters. Three complete series. One universe that will consume your entire reading life and leave you absolutely zero regrets. It's your new reading philosophy.
