I didn't set out to create a genre. I set out to write the stories I wanted to read.

Stories where the women don't need rescuing. Where the men are powerful and obsessive, with just the right amount of possessive. Where love isn't about fixing someone, though the love is the salve.

I write about billionaires, yes. These aren't "her rags to his riches" fantasies. These are people who were born into wealth and wield it without apology.

I write about mafia and organized crime. Not as a backdrop…as a business. My characters negotiate deals, protect territories, and make strategic decisions. They're not reckless. They're calculated.

And I write about sex. Explicit, unapologetic, one-hand-reader-friendly sex. Check the Triggers & Glimmers for each book. Luxury is about choices and you will always have that safety with me.

Here's the thing:

These books aren't about the money or the danger or even the heat (though there's plenty of all three).

Why I created Caviar & Crimes:

I tried to fit my books into existing boxes.

Billionaire romance. I don't write barista bookstore clerk gets invited to the masquerade ball and he can't live without her.

Romantic suspense. My stories are more layered than one plot.

Dark romance. My main characters are not morally gray.

So, I created my own genre and tropes.

Caviar & Crimes is a universe where:

Every series drops complete (no cliffhanger purgatory)
Characters show up across multiple books (because life doesn't stop at the HEA)

A few things about me that don't fit in a traditional author bio:

I'm writing for and as the wildly focused and beautifully distracted. I hyperfocus on details most people miss and I can't write a "simple" romance if my life depended on it. My brain doesn't do simple. It does layered.
I believe in astrology. Yes, the characters in my books have birth charts. It influences their decisions, their compatibility, their conflicts. If that sounds extra, you're not wrong. It drives the depth of my characters in perception and interactions with each other.
I drop the entire series on release day because I'm an impatient reader and I refuse to do to you what other authors have done to me. No waiting for book two, three, or four. No cliffhangers. Just the whole story, ready to binge.

What you can expect from me:

I'm not going to pretend I have it all figured out. I'm building this brand in real time, making decisions as I go, trusting my instincts even when they contradict "the rules."

I don't play the algorithm game. I don't chase trends. I won't water down my work to fit someone else's expectations.

What I do is write books that demand your full attention. Stories that linger long after the last page. Characters who feel like people you know (or wish you knew).

And when I show up on this blog, in your inbox, or on social media, it's not to sell you something, but to build something with you.

One more thing:

In my world Black women are the main lead characters who are billionaires, attorneys, global wedding planners. They're powerful, wealthy, desired, and safe. Without needing to be broken first.

This isn't about niche representation or filling a quota. Not as a statement. And not as representation for representation's sake. These are stories where Black women are the default. The standard. The ones with all the power, all the wealth, all the heat, and all the love.

Their love stories aren't about overcoming trauma or proving their worth. They're about building empires, partnership and intimacy earned through commitment.

Why? Because there aren't enough books like this.

This is about expansion, where Black women are loved boldly, seen fully, and never written as a cautionary tale. Where interracial love doesn't need to be explained. Where the blueprint is not borrowed from old systems but rewritten entirely.
